Can Cheggars be Boozers?

Here's the question of the day: Can you have your cake and eat it? Can beggars ever be choosers? Is it better to take the first job that comes along, even if you hate it, or can you actually wait for the dream job? Or, even more far-fetched, can you afford to wait until the novel is actually done and publishers are clamoring for the rights?

I'll be back in the morning with another thought or three on this.
